About Our Run

The 3 & 8km Run/Walk is a fundraiser for Carefor, a not-for-profit home health care provider since 1897.

On Saturday September 1, 2012, Somersault Event Series will host the Morning Canadian 3Km and 8Km Fun Runs. Carefor Health & Community Services is the Official Charity of the Canadian Weekend. All donations and sponsorship through this pledge program will support Carefor’s charitable work in Ottawa. Charitable Registration No 11928 4768 RR0001

There is no age restriction. Youth, families, adults, seniors are all welcome to join the team.

Members of Team Carefor must register with Carefor Health & Community Services and agree to collect a minimum of $100 in pledges. All pledges of $20 or more are tax deductible.

Carefor is hosting a silent auction at this year’s Morning Canadian, giving you one more way to show you care. A full range of interesting items to suit everyone from the outdoorsy type to the social butterfly will be available.

Drop by the Carefor Tent on-site on Friday and Saturday to browse and bid. All funds raised by the auction, Carefor Cafe, 50/50 draw, and pledges go towards supporting the charitable work of Carefor Health and Community Services in Ottawa.
