Bid on items of the silent auction - Make sure you stop by the Carefor tent across from the registration area to browse and bid. Auction will be open on Friday at 2:30 p.m. and will close Saturday at 11:30 a.m. A full range of interesting items to suit everyone will be available. Items include SAIL gift certificate, St. Laurent Centre gift cards, Executive Fitness Leaders packages, and Oak Tree Acupuncture services… and the list is growing everyday!

Where The Money goes

This is Carefor second largest annual fundraising event. Carefor raise money to support the critical services it provides to the community. Our goal is to raise $15,000.

By participating in this event and collecting pledges, you are showing your support for local home health care. All money raised through your pledges will support Carefor's charitable work in the community and provide:

• Transportation to and from our Adult Day Programs for clients living with dementia.
• Subsidies to help clients who are unable to afford the full cost of a Carefor service.
• Equipment for eight nursing clinics which provide an alternative for clients in need of home care.
• Ongoing education and training of the health care providers delivering Carefor services.
• Upgrades to Carefor-owned buildings to improve safety and provide a more comfortable environment for our clients and staff.

For 115 years, Carefor Health & Community Services, a registered charity, has been keeping families together longer at home by providing home health care and community support services. From nursing to personal care, assisted living options and respite services to support for caregivers and families with loved ones living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias, Carefor services continue to meet the needs of the local communities we serve.
