Palliative Care Volunteer Program: Eastern Counties
The goal of this volunteer program is to allow both clients and caregivers the highest possible quality of life each day. Structured to ease the burden of dealing with a terminal illness, this program seeks to provide its participants the time and energy needed for each other. It also works to alleviate physical, emotional and spiritual suffering. Volunteers can work on a regular or part-time basis and are carefully selected, screened and trained in order to give the best care possible.
