Carefor employees organized a successful Christmas Food Bank Run

Ottawa's Food Banks have been hit especially hard this year, and Carefor staff responded loudly to the call.
Thanks to the generous support of the staff working at Carefor Corporate Office on Belfast Road, nine boxes full of dry foods and hygiene products were delivered to the Gloucester Food Bank. To say the least, it was very much appreciated!
There's nothing like a little friendly office competition to get those wrapped boxes filled. Congratulations to the following departments who truly spearheaded the Christmas Food Bank Run this year:
- the most volume was brought in by the Personal Support Services department --so congratulations on your generous spirit
- the 2nd highest volume was brought in by Visiting Nursing Program & Allied Health department - so congratulations to your giving spirit
- the most variety was brought in by the office staff - so congratulations to your gracious spirit
Special thanks go to Elli Wieschollek for coordinating the Christmas Food Bank Run. Your encouragements made a real difference!
