Picnic Table donated to Richmond Care Home by Richmond First Scout GroupOn August 4, 2010, the 1st Richmond Scout Group, led by John Sleeth, kindly donated a picnic table to Carefor Health & Community Services' for the use of the residents and volunteers at the Richmond Care Home.

The table was a pleasant surprise for residents, who awoke that morning to find the beautiful table on the front lawn of the home with the inscription "To: Richmond Care Home." and "From: 1st Richmond Scout Group 2010". Everyone from families, residents and staff have been greatly enjoying the table, taking advantage of its well thought out location on the front lawn beneath the branches of one of the many trees that graces the Home.

The staff, residents and volunteers of the Richmond Care Home, and everyone at Carefor Health & Community Services, would like to extend a huge thank you to the 1st Richmond Scout Group. This thoughtful gift will be enjoyed for the rest of the summer and for many years to come.
