Befriending Program: Eastern Counties

The Carefor Befriending Program is volunteer-oriented and aimed at both men and women with physical challenges. The Befriending Program matches individuals who share similar interests and hobbies, allowing them to share in these activities and enhancing the quality of life for both participants.

"Being a volunteer in the befriending program has allowed me to get to know more people in the community. Carefor does a good job of training volunteers, and is very diligent about giving volunteers what they need to succeed. I would recommend becoming a volunteer at Carefor to others." -Rick L., Befriending Program volunteer of 13 years.
