The Palliative Care Volunteer Visiting Program helps ease the burden of dealing with a terminal illness through dedicated and helpful volunteers. The goal of Palliative Care is to allow the client and caregiver the highest quality of life each day. It’s also meant to assist with alleviating physical, emotional and spiritual suffering.

The Volunteer Visiting Program seeks to allow clients and caregivers the time and energy needed for each other.

Who Are The Volunteers?

Volunteer Visitors are special, yet everyday people, who are willing to help on a regular basis or just a few hours each week.

The volunteers are carefully screened, selected and trained to give the best care possible.

What Services Are Provided?

  • Relief for Caregivers
  • Outings
  • Friendship, listening & sharing
  • Encourage client’s interests and activities
  • Support in times of crisis
  • Bereavement follow-up
  • Presentations to interested groups and organizations
